A message from the Finance Committee

As a follow up to our presentation at masses last weekend, the Finance Committee appreciates you and your feedback. Here below are highlights of what the Finance Committee members spoke at all masses last Sunday.

First and foremost – thank you for your support. The Annual report reflects your continued generosity and commitment to continue the main purpose of our parish; to serve the growing needs of our faith community. Your present and future sacrifice and support is essential to keeping our parish mission going strong.
What are ways you can help?

• Pray for our parish – Pray to Ss. Peter and Lambert for the intercessory prayers for the continued growth and vitality of our parish.
• Your financial gifts – your generosity helps to support religious education for children as well as the faith formation of adults. It helps in addressing our parish infrastructure and capital needs. The stewardship work led by Fr. Anthony and an increase in your generous weekly offerings have resulted in some relief of the deficits experienced since COVID. While we ask for your faithful stewardship, it is the role of the Finance Committee to remain focused on the role of being a good steward of your sacrifice. It is an urgent request to you, to commit financially to regular Sunday Giving.
• In last week’s bulletin, we shared our parish Annual Report. If you missed it, I encourage you to read it on our parish website and celebrate with us!
• Last Sunday's bulletin called out ways to help sustain and strengthen our parish. Our ask is for you to increase and to be consistent in your giving to the parish.  We encourage you to make your sacrifice proportional to your annual income as suggested on the third page of the Annual Report.  But consistency is key.  Please consider contributing through a recurring online donation using GiveCentral.  A QR code is included in each week's bulletin to simplify the registration process.   We are also looking at other methods of online contributions to assist in the giving process.
• Your Time and Talents – We are blessed to have our parish buildings that represent the hard work, sacrifice, and commitment of those who came before us. That sacrifice and commitment to maintain these buildings has become our responsibility, so that we can pass them on to future generations. You can help by volunteering your time and talents. If there is something you can help with or if you see a need somewhere, we ask you to offer your services to the parish. There are many needs that require your knowledge and help – parish council, liturgy committee, bulletin committee, and finance committee - among others.
• We have recently formed a facilities committee comprised of parishioners with construction and mechanical repair backgrounds. This committee will assist the Finance Committee in prioritizing repairs and necessary steps. The Facilities Committee is also charged with ensuring the parish is getting the best results for the best possible price. We will share their findings as we learn more.
